The Inaugural Hilo Golf Classic was hosted by Hilo Junior Golf in 1982. Today, the Classic is our only major fundraiser. Proceeds from this tournament are used to subsidize the costs of our program events. Each year, help is sought to recruit family and friends to complete the entry form to secure a spot in the field of a maximum of 180 players. The format of the tournament has varied over the years between two-person and three-person modified scramble based on 25% of the team members handicap and with staggered prizes.
