40th Annual Hilo Golf Classic Fundraiser Tournament
The Inaugural Hilo Golf Classic was hosted by Hilo Junior Golf in 1982. Today, the Classic is the only major fundraiser sponsored by the current junior golf program now known as Big Island Junior Golf Association. Proceeds from this tournament are used to subsidize the costs of its program events. Each year, help is sought to recruit family and friends to complete the entry form to secure a spot in the field of a maximum of 180 players. The format of the tournament has varied between two person and three person modified scramble based on 25% of the team members handicap and with staggered prizes.

For nearly four decades, this tournament has brought together our community to support the Big Island Junior Golf Association (BIJGA) and our junior golfers. Your past participation helped make a difference in the lives of our keiki, and we would be honored to have you join us again this year.
